Texture Hair Salon
Hello. My name is Ramsey Sayah. I am Master Stylist, with over 20 years of industry experience and owner of two successful and thriving salons in Ottawa. I opened Texture Hair Salon in 2000 and ten years later I opened Texture Hair Boutique.
I take great pride in our award winning team of Stylists and although I have been a mentor to them – I draw inspiration from them every day. I am very proud of my career to date, but there is still so much more to learn and do!
In addition to working in the salon, I’ve worked as a columnist, on television sets and competed in many hair competitions.
Even though my clientele list includes actors, athletes and politicians – my philosophy is to treat every guest that walks into our salon like a celebrity.
As a Wella Professionals Consultant I have traveled all over North America – trying to make my mark on the industry. I have attended many educational seminars around the world on both hair styling and business.

Hello beautiful people! I’ve been in the industry since 2003, and I can’t see myself doing anything else! Hair is not just my job – it’s my life! I love my job and I love making my guests happy every visit. I tell every guest, “life it too short to have boring hair”! Have fun with it!
I’ve worked with all types of hair, and I love a challenge.
I’ve entered many hair competitions, starting with the 2013 Sebastian What’s Next Competition where I won Gold. It was such an unbelievable experience. In 2015 I placed in the top 7 for all of Canada in the Young Talent division of the North American Trendvision Competition.
I believe it’s important to keep yourself educated in the industry. I go on courses 2-3 times a year and got my Master Colourist, Master Cutting and Creative Colour and Cut Diploma. I have travelled to New York, Toronto and Los Angeles for some of the best education available.
I can’t wait to meet you – get ready to be happy and beautiful!
I’ve been passionate about hair for as long as I can remember. I started doing hair working at Diversity braiding and doing extensions around 2005. I graduated from Versailles Academy in 2015 with honours, placing 2nd in my graduating glass. I’m fully certified for both Goldwell and Wella Colour.
I took Sebastian’s Razor cutting course in 2015, and I’ve been excited to apply it to many of my cuts, especially bobs, which I excel at. I’m great with adding body to fine hair, and creating polished, finished blowouts and styles.
I literally started from the bottom now I’m here! I started working at Texture in 2007 when I was just starting highschool. I’m very lucky to have been able to learn from such talented people starting at a young age, and the passion of the Texture staff is a big part of what made me the stylist I am today.
I graduated from Algonquin’s hairstyling program in 2011, and I’ve continued my training with Wella’s amazing artistic team. Some of the courses I’ve taken include Sebastian Urban Men’s Cutting, Sebastian’s Advanced Women’s Cutting, Wella Master Colour and Colour Correction. I worked as an assistant twice for the National Trendvision Competition, in both LA and Vegas. They say a good assistant makes a great stylist – and I’d like to think I’m proof of that!
If you’re looking for a bomb fade I’m your man, and I love free-hand ombre and balayage for you ladies! I love all types of hair – so bring it on! I’m a perfectionist who takes pride in my work - I’ll always make sure you’re 100% happy before you leave my chair. Whether you’re 7 or 70, I look forward to meeting you.
My name is Arielle Campbell and I’ve been doing hair since 2009. At a young age I knew hair was something I loved, I was always trying to curl someone’s hair or force my mom to let me dye her hair all kinds of crazy colors. I grew up in Montreal and at the age of 17 decided to attend hair school there before moving to Ottawa where I really started my hair career. Since then, hair has become not only my job but my passion.
After 4 years of working in Westboro I decided to move to texture where I was welcomed with open arms. What can I say? I love the team and the amount of creativity and talent we all have. We all feed of each other which makes us all stronger hairstylists. I‘m proud to be working with one of the top hair coloring companies (as well as my favorite!) Wella. I’ve been working with Wella for years and I’ve taken part in a few of their classes to further my knowledge of their products. I‘ve also taken part in many other classes to perfect my skills in updos and color techniques.
I’m always trying to expand in my knowledge in this industry, since it‘s an industry that’s forever changing. I love doing hair because I feel like I‘m always learning each day - it’s not only a job to me but it something I love doing!
I started out at Texture as an assistant, shampooing and assisting the talented team of stylists. This experience made me want to become one of them – to be the person who makes people beautiful and helps them to feel amazing about themselves. I completed school and continue to learn, taking extra courses with Wella’s finest, expanding my knowledge of creative colour, balayage, and Wella’s Freelights and Magma colour lines. I continue to keep working to perfect my craft and challenging myself every day. I’m great with men’s cuts and shorter styles, and ombre and balayage colouring techniques.
Hey! I’m Laura! My passion for hair started when I was in my early teens and I have been doing hair professionally since 2010. I graduated second in my class at Algonquin College, and since then I have taken courses with Aveda, Schwartzkopf, Wella and Sebastian colour lines.
When I’m not working at Texture or furthering hair dressing education, I enjoy spending time with my young son. Even though I love being a mom, I really enjoy this line of work; it doesn’t feel like a job to me. When you really love what you do, it shows through your work. I like challenging myself with new colours and cuts so I’m always up to date on current trends. Come in to Texture to see what I’m about!
Hi! I graduated at the end of 2013 from Versailles Academy in hair and makeup. I then assisted for over a year where I gained more knowledge from other amazing stylists before I got my hands dirty and started working on the floor!
What I love most about this industry is making my clients look and feel beautiful. I think that we live in a world where life sometimes gets stressful and hectic and we forget to take care of ourselves or we don‘t feel 100%. When times are tough for my clients, I love being able to make that small little difference in their day where they can not only look good, but most importantly feel good. Seeing an ordinary person like me make such a positive difference makes me really happy, and that’s why I love doing what I do!
What I also love is that this industry is always changing and there’s always different trends coming and going which always keeps me on my toes. I love learning new techniques for balayage/ombre, being creative when it comes to updos and expanding my horizons when working with fashion colors. I am definitely a bit of a perfectionist and will do my very best leaving you happy when you leave my chair! I look forward to meeting all you beautiful people!
As far as I can remember, I’ve always loved everything about hair and makeup. Growing up, my favourite pastimes were giving my barbies makeovers and practicing new makeup techniques. I’ve now been doing hair since 2009 and also received my makeup certification in early 2016.
I grew up in the west end of Ottawa but have also lived in Miami, Montreal, Toronto, Trenton and Kingston. Seeing different cities, I believe has helped shape and influence my style. I enjoy spending time with my kids and dog, and also writing. I have just completed a book on building confidence and motivating women, which is another passion of mine. Beauty is a huge part of my life, inside and out.
I have wanted to work at Texture for a while, so I am more than excited to be part of this amazing team of stylists. I am constantly learning new trends and techniques which makes this career so rewarding.
I enjoy doing balayage and ombre, as well as full makeovers! Any challenge you send my way, I will passionately accept.
I look forward to working on your hair and helping you feel at your best! Come in to Texture and let me show you what effortless beauty feels like.
It’s not just hair, it’s a lifestyle. XO
I’ve always been passionate about beauty industry, especially hair. I started taking my passion seriously as early as high school, taking classes and attending a full day co-op in a salon. I love working with hair because every day is different, and I get to help people feel great about themselves.
I had caught wind of Texture‘s reputation for excellent work and outstanding staff before I was even out of school. I knew a space like that was something I needed to be a part of. I began working at Texture in July of 2016, shortly after graduating the two year diploma program at Algonguin College for hairstyling. Under the guidance of Texture’s knowledgable and tremendously skilled staff I am constantly expanding and challenging my own skill set.
The dynamic atmosphere created here is like no where else, and I highly encourage you to stop by to experience it yourself. See you at the salon!
I’ve been a part of Texture’s team since the summer of 2015. After finishing my Bachelor of Arts degree, I became a receptionist at our downtown location. I’ve always found hair and makeup interesting but never thought the career suited me. Although I’m not directly involved in the creative process, I love watching and learning from the stylists. Each day I get to witness how the team expresses themselves and brings their vision to life - while occasionally being the guinea pig for their artistic outlet! So whether you’re looking for a touch up or makeover come on in and become insta-famous!
Texture Hair Boutique
!I always have to be at the top of my game! I’ve been cutting hair for over 17 years before becoming an owner myself. I met Ramsey in hair school and have seen him succeed tremendously. I strive for success and perfection, this is why I have teamed with such a great entrepreneur! I look forward to many happy years with a new family! Being an educator for Wella, working with high school students on self-esteem, travelling the world to be inspired and taking more courses than I can count, mean nothing if I can’t work on everyday people. I love hair shows and glamour. However, my passion is working behind the chair and creating for my clients a look that will enable them to achieve self-esteem and pride. Hair is the reason you come to Texture, the relationships you make with our team is why you stay!
Hair styling and make-up is a creative form of arts. It’s a unique way to express an individual. This is what I love to do for a living and it’s my passion. Whether its hair or make-up, a touch up here or a trim there, it still makes your day better, I know it does for me. I’m honored to be that person in your life to make you look and feel amazing. I love the feeling of hair, I’m in my zone and I’m so focused. Whether it’s ethnic hair which I previously spent my first years specializing in or limp fine hair that needs body, I’m your girl. Go big or go home! =D I love the people I work with it’s an amazing environment. We all have great energy together and it really feels like my second family!

So where do I begin? I’m not going to take you all the way back, just far enough as to when I decided to become a hairstylist.
I have always had a strong passion and love for hair since I could remember. I just didn’t realize that this could be a career. Finally as I became a mature young woman, realized my potential, and grew my confidence, I went for it. I did what I had to do despite many challenges and became a hard-working, passionate and fun hairstylist.
I have been in this industry for over 15 years now. Wow time flies!
I am and always have been advancing myself by taking on going education such as TiGi and Wella advanced colouring courses and the latest in cutting techniques.
I do it all for men and women, including bridal updos. I love making my guests feel great - it‘s my favourite part of the job. It’s all about the experience, from the minute they walk in to the salon, during and after their services. They become friends and people that better my life as I do theirs. I am grateful for the career choice I made, because I go to work everyday happy, healthy and feeling that I am the luckiest person in the world to do what I’m passionate about and get paid for it.
Now hurry up and book with me, and let me share this passion with you! Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
